                  	<p>Denne bautasteinen frå garden Li i Gausdal kommune har ei innskrift som dokumenterer utsetjing av fisk i Raudsjøen, som ligg vestanfor garden og høgare oppe i terrenget. <!-- Denne lenka er visst ikkje tillaten: <ref
                  			target="https://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raudsjøen" type="external">Raudsjøen</ref> --> I 1839 vart steinen brukt til grunnmur i eit fjøs på garden, og har seinare ikkje vore attfunnen. Innskrifta har vore avteikna tre gonger, seinast i 1833 av student Chr. C.A. Lange, seinare riksantikvar. Lange fortel at steinen var rekna som bortkommen, men legg til: “Imidlertid fandt jeg den ved et Besøg i G[a]usdal i Juli Maaned 1833 opstillet af Bonden i Gaardens Have, hvortil den for kort Tid siden var bragt fra Udmarken nede ved Elven, hvor den forhen havde staaet. Stenen er omtrent 2 1/4 Alen lang [ca. 140 cm] og 1/2 Alen [ca. 30 cm] i Gjennemsnitt. [...] Den er af en sortblank meget haard Steenart, der klang næsten som Metal, naar man slog paa den, endog med Træe.” Jf. NIyR I: 119-120.</p>

				<head>Kommentar</head>
				<p>Som nemnt ovanfor har innskrifta  vore avteikna tre gonger, først av Gerhard Schøning i 1775, deretter av M.F. Arendt i 1805 og endeleg i 1833 av  Chr. C.A. Lange. Dei tre teikningane gjev ikkje att runene heilt likt. Det er verdt å merke seg at i avteikningna til Lange, som er vist nedanfor, er det andre ordet attgjeve som ᛁᛚᚴᚱ <hi rend="bold">ilkr</hi> og det tredje som ᛒᛁᚱ <hi rend="bold">bir</hi>, men på grunnlag av dei to andre avteikningane er desse orda tolka som ᛆᛚᚴᚱ <hi rend="bold">alkr</hi> og ᛒᛆᚱ <hi rend="bold">bar</hi>.
